Monterey Peninsula Foundation – Youth Fund – Fall 2014
The Monterey Peninsula Foundation (proceeds from the A.T.&T. golf tournament) is once again offering Hartnell College the opportunity to apply for a grant for next year through the Youth Fund. You have the opportunity to submit a project from your department/academic area that can benefit by this grant. Projects in the $3,000-$5,000 range and the project dates are November 2014 – August 2015. We are soliciting your projects this year via Survey Monkey. Please contact the Foundation office with questions about your proposal. Additionally, we will be holding two informational drop-in sessions (dates and location below).
Youth Fund grants have three criteria 1) engages the community, 2) targets youth ages 10-24, and 3) involves other community based organizations. Projects addressing these criteria are likely to be successful.
There will be a selection committee that will prioritize the projects and forward to the President’s Cabinet for approval.

Computer Science Access & Awareness

August 1st: Deadline for submission on Survey Monkey
November: Notification of award
The Monterey Peninsula Foundation Youth Fund is a youth-oriented fund formerly known as the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Youth Fund. The Foundation’s principal source of funds is the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, and the Youth Fund has awarded grants to selected youth-oriented organizations in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties since 1954. The Youth Fund does not award grants to individuals or for salaries for teachers or school employees.
