Women’s Economic and Leadership Forum Sponsorship Opportunities
The WELI program empowers students and teaches them self-efficacy skills. Students are empowered through leadership training, a financial award, a student-lead WELI club and powerful mentorship with a successful community leader, making this a life changing experience. WELI integrates keys to success into each class cohort and those are: resources, knowledge, inspiration, empowerment and mentorship. WELI scholars participate in 24 hours of leadership training, quarterly coordinated mentor activities, and receive a $2,000 scholarship at the end of the year-long program to continue their education. Through the WELI program, scholars receive the support and financial assistance to fulfill their greatest educational dreams. To date, the WELI program has graduated 76 women scholars. To support this amazing program, Hartnell Foundation has recently launched the WELI Dream Team Campaign, a funding initiative that allows individuals to pool money to have a greater impact on the lives of WELI scholars.
The first Women’s Economic & Leadership Forum will bring together business and community leaders to support the Women’s Education & Leadership Initiative Program (WELI). We invite you to join us in promoting the economic prosperity of women in the Salinas Valley through higher education. This important event will fund the WELI program endowment, ensuring this invaluable program is available to the women of this community for generations to come.
