Dear donors and supporters,

I can’t believe we have already found ourselves in February, the month of love and friendship! The Hartnell College Foundation is grateful that we can celebrate our ongoing friendship and common love and support of students. We also want you to know how much you are loved and appreciated.

Two weeks ago, I had the honor of co-hosting alongside Superintendent/President, Dr. Raul Rodriguez, and President of the Board of Trustees, Erica Padilla-Chavez the ‘State of the College Report.’ I took such joy and pride in sharing the positive news and stories of our students’ resiliency because it showcases the difference made to students’ lives when they are show support and generosity.

During the State of the College Report, we shared updates on how Hartnell is stepping up to ensure student access and success, the Measure T construction projects, donor impact, and so much more. A pre-recorded student panel via Zoom told the story of how students are continuing to stay focused during these times. It was amazing!

If you missed this live event, I encourage you to click on the above links. I assure you will be inspired.

Have a great Valentine’s Day and Presidents’ Holiday weekend!

Best regards,

Jackie Cruz

 WHY DO I GIVE?

EMPLOYEE GIVING FLOURISHES IN A YEAR LIKE NO OTHER

Each year, the Hartnell College Foundation takes pride in garnering the support of the campus community for its students by spearheading the Employee Giving Campaign. It has been heartwarming to see how many of our staff come through each year to make sure our students have all the resources they need in order to succeed. This year, we asked three members of the management team to share the reason behind their giving and we hope you enjoy what they have to share. Please click here for this short video message.
